1. Tram no. 4/6 - from Moszkva tér (the most fucked-up square in Budapest, but more than worth a walk around) through the Nagykörút, a must if you’re in town.

2. Tram no. 2 - for the postcard-perfect view of Buda. Currently not functioning in all its glory due to the construction of the 4th metro line (in construction since the 1800’s or so)

3. Tram no. 61 (née 56) - connecting the suburbia of Hűvösvölgy and Móricz square.

4. Bus no. 99 - a sociological/architectural treat. Through the VIIIth district and the Wekerle Housing Project.

5. Fogaskerekű (cogwheel railway) - it’s just cool, and has a nice commie feel.
